activity in the field of colour education as new techniques, understandings and

d. ASIACT is delighted to be at the forefront of this field. In its own right ASIACT is a
certifying body for several colour systems. Most notably the Aura-Soma colour
system, which has an international following of over 13,000 students. ASIACT
also has several other faculties including Colour and Yoga, Beamer Light Pen,
Colour and Creativity. You will find information about all these in the
dedicated ASIACT Colour Education section. In addition to the work ASIACT
does with its own colour
faculties
, the Academy is also committed to
furthering
education and standards in all forms of colour therapy. ASIACT offers you a

field of colour education. The Aura-Soma Faculty
The Aura-Soma Training is a
colour
phenomenon
that has circled the world. Originally inspired in 1983 with the creation of
the remarkable jewel like Equilibrium oils, the Aura-Soma Faculty offers a
comprehensive
colour training. A training that provides the student with not only tremendous
knowledge about the language and uses of colour, but also invites the student
into a process of personal healing transformation as they interact with the
living energies of colour and awaken to the beauty and potential within
themselves. The Faculty has been responsible
for developing the Aura-Soma Practitioner training, training teachers to present
these courses around the world, developing course materials and teaching aids,
as well as ensuring that high standards and the quality of students experience
are maintained. The Faculty is also engaged in developing links with further
accrediting bodies. Colour Treatments Colour and light are
increasingly being recognised as valuable forms of treatment for a growing
number of conditions. Colour
occupies
a special position in the
range
of growing techniques that work with vibrational healing because it
occupies
precisely
that band of energy within the electromagnetic spectrum which is
perceptible
to the human eye. As if Nature were saying, "This is the part of the
energy spectrum that is most beneficial for humans". This section offers you the

affecting all levels of our being. Aura-Soma Colour Therapy Aura-Soma is a non-
intrusive
colour system of great beauty which offers you the opportunity for
awareness and

. It invites you to work from the deeper level of your being, empowering you to
help yourself. Through colour Aura-Soma brings consciousness and insight from
the soul level of your being into your everyday life. Aura-Soma is especially
suited for those who wish to come to a new focus in their life and/or who wish
to develop themselves. Aura-Soma is not a therapy in
the traditional sense since it makes no claims to heal medical conditions; what
it does do is address the whole question of what lies behind dis-ease. It
supports you to come to a greater ease within yourself. The Aura-Soma Consultation "You
are the colours you choose" Your choice of Equilibrium
bottles is the key to the Aura-Soma Consultation. To begin you will be
invited to choose the four colour combinations to which you are most drawn. During
the hour consultation that follows you will gain insight into your current
situation and the larger pattern of your life story by exploring with a trained
Aura-Soma Practitioner what your colour choice represents for you, what it
reveals of your gifts, challenges and opportunities. Your colour choice will
also shed light on your potential for growth and transformation. Towards the end of the
consultation you will identify the Aura-Soma colour products that will be most
beneficial for you to apply in the following weeks. This is a very important
part of helping yourself through Aura-Soma. The consultation provides the
insight into your situation, but it is in applying the Aura-Soma colours onto
and around yourself that the information discussed in the session may be
absorbed and integrated into your everyday experience. The products have an
energetic vibration that goes beyond words. You will also receive a
Consultation Information Sheet on which you may make a note of the main details
of your consultation, what was discussed and what was recommended. This will
provide a valuable record of your ongoing work with Aura-Soma. The Philosophy It is a fundamental
premise
of Aura-Soma that you yourself know what is best for you. Aura-Soma is
described as non intrusive because it is your choice of colours as the
person who comes for a consultation which determines what is explored during the
session. Colour is a universal language
understood by all people in all cultures. Your colour
preference
s, such as your favourite colour, the colours you like next to each other, the
passing phases you have for certain colours, are all expressions of the inner
self. Equilibrium colour combinations provide a
medium
for the soul to express itself and touch the underlying themes of your life
in a way that goes beyond language. The Background Aura-Soma was born in 1983,
created as the result of an inspiration received by its remarkable founder Vicky
Wall. Though blind and in retirement she was inspired by a nightly
recurring
vision of jewel-like colours flowing their way towards her. This vision led to
the creation of the colour combination bottles that have come to lie at the
heart of the Aura-Soma system. These bottles are known as Equilibrium. Since
those early days the range of Equilibrium has grown to over a hundred colour
combination, each combination offering its own gifts and potential. Though Vicky Wall passed on
in 1991, Aura-Soma continues to grow from strength to strength, guided by
her
successor
Mike Booth and supported by the commitment of many people worldwide. There are
now more than 300
accredited
teachers, and over 13,000 students world wide. With its own Code of Practice
and established training programme Aura-Soma is now an established presence in
more that 30 countries worldwide. The Aura-Soma Products There are four main products in
the Aura-Soma system. The Equilibrium bottles
are dual coloured combinations composed of two fractions, oil over water. Each
bottle is filled with the living energies of colour, plant and cystals and
combines the vibrations of the angelic, plant and mineral kingdoms in a balanced
form that may be applied directly onto the body. Equilibrium is the primary
product within Aura-Soma. In addition to Equilibrium there
are the Pomanders and Quintessences. These fragrant products are
each composed of 49 herbs and provide protection and support for the aura while
you open yourself up to the transformation process stimulated by the Equilibrium
bottles. They are to be passed through the aura around the body. The Colour Essences
are the fourth range tool and bring the energy of colour into the body when
taken as drops in a glass of water. Beyond these principal tools
there is a wide range of supportive products from cosmetics to air conditioners.
All are colour coded and all are created with the intention of being entirely
helpful.
